2. What personal data we process

3. Purposes for which personal data are processed

  • Personal data is used for the management of customer orders and the delivery of goods.

  • The bank account details are used to return payments to the customer (if necessary).

4. Transmission of data to processors The e-shop keeps the customer's personal data confidential and does not disclose them to third parties, except in cases strictly necessary for the provision of the service:

  • Payment solutions: The e-shop is the controller of the personal data and transfers the personal data necessary for the execution of payments to the processor. Stripe.
  • Transport: The customer's name, telephone number and address will be provided to the courier (if the goods are not delivered by the e-shop itself, but by a third party).
  • Accounting: Personal data are transmitted to an accounting service provider for the purpose of accounting operations.

5. Security and data access Personal data is stored on servers located in the territory of a Member State of the European Union or in the territory of countries that have acceded to the European Economic Area. The data is accessible to the e-shop's staff, who can access the personal data in order to resolve technical issues related to the use of the e-shop and to provide customer support services.

Retention and deletion of data Personal data will be deleted when the customer's e-shop account is closed, unless such data needs to be stored for accounting purposes or to resolve consumer disputes. 7. Dispute resolution Disputes relating to the processing of personal data can be resolved through customer support (karin@karinikodukook.ee). The supervisory authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (info@aki.ee).
